Eric is a farmer with a penchant for drumming. When he isn't playing with the band, Eric is busy perfecting his pizza recipe, camping, or beating everyone at Scrabble.

 

Jeremy is the trumpeter, bassist, and occasional vocalist for Glass Caravan. He is a huge fan of jazz and rock and strives to incorporate them equally in both his playing and his teaching. Jeremy received his BA in jazz from the University of Maryland, College Park and has been actively teaching since 2003. He teaches privately, but also through Music and Arts in both Germantown and Rockville. He also works sectionals and live demos with schools in the Montgomery County area, and composes in his spare time. Jeremy is known as Boss Latke, and takes equal pride in both his sandwich -making ability and his terrifying gamer skillz.

 

John is the keyboardist/one of the vocalists/and occasional bass player for Glass Caravan. He received his B.A. in Jazz Piano performance from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2013 and has been teaching piano both privately and through Music and Arts since January 2014. Additionally, John has been a solo artist since 2006, and has recorded and released four solo albums to date, the latest of which was released in November 2014. He also hopes to pursue a career in music education. John is known as the grumpy jazz troll. While he is not as grumpy as he used to be, don't get between him and his coffee, or he will be forced to hurt you.

 

Stephen is a musician and music teacher who play guitar, bass, piano, drums, and banjo. In addition to Glass Caravan he plays with the nationally acclaimed traditional jazz group, the Capital Focus Jazz Band. He has played in various rock and hip hop groups over the past ten years, and in 2013 graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree in Jazz Guitar Performance and Spanish Linguistics. He has taught private lessons for 8 years and currently teaches Guitar Classes at the University of Maryland's Art and Learning Center. As a buddhist, spirituality is at the core of his personal, professional, and artistic pursuits. He believes that at its best, music is a manifestation of pure divine consciousness. Whenever he plays and teaches, it is this consciousness he seeks to engage and express. He also likes vegetarian cooking and trolling his girlfriend.
